not expecting!

Yay !!!

Finally had time to go and develop my films...

I got at the office this morning, put the CD into the computer and, for my surprise,  found that the old film I had on my Holga was from Paris… more than a year old…when I climbed the Notre Dame with my mom… (Quite a challenge I must say)

One of the most amazing views ever!

Well, there were only 3 pics in it, and they’re weirdly exposed. Besides that, they’re a bit damaged for the year they spent inside the camera… but I like it. I think this is what makes film photography so real.

And then, I think they go along pretty well with my current Paris nostalgia… (Sorry, I’ll never get over it! And it’s fine… I don’t think I want to.)

PS. I’m just pausing the USA pics… still have a couple of posts of NYC that I wanna share… SORRY!!! ;o)

I won't even try to pretend I'm not a fan!

I do think The Beatles were one of the best things that ever happened to music... lol (fan talking, I'm sorry)

Every time I go to NYC, the Strawberry Fields, in Central Park, is an obligation... (and this time, with my, even more fan than I, father was, for sure, no different).

We stayed about 4 days in Manhattan and went to this spot every single day... just to pass by... (our hotel was not far, and it was NOT a coincidence)

One day my dearest boy asked me what was my favorite song of all… I, for sure, thought that it had to be a Beatles song. I must say that this song change according to my mood, to what I’m living, to how I’m feeling, etc… Nevertheless, one thing’s for sure: my favorite song of all will ALWAYS be a Beatles song.

As I started talking about my favorite boy, for now I’ll leave you with this one…

Nevertheless, I decided to take a short break to be a little more up to date…

I brought HOLGA to work almost every day, but I’ve been running around like crazy and haven’t had time to develop the pictures. (for now I’ll just have to share some cell phone pics)

I must say I’m enjoying my lunch hours so very much! I get to wonder around the neighborhood (and it’s a quite nice one)… it makes me feel, almost, in Paris. 

Oh! the soundtrack of my week (I do listen to the same song(s) over and over and over and over again...)
